Basic Care
Atopochetus dollfusii is a beautiful and very popular species of millipede. Like other millipedes, these are detrivores so rotten leaves and rotten white wood should be provided at all times as this makes up the majority of their diet. This species can be very sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations but as long as this is kept in mind, can do very well in captivity and have been known to breed in the hobbiest set up. If you are looking for a millipede that is a little bit special to add to your collection, this species is definitely one that shouldn't be overlooked.
