  • Care Information

These adorable invertebrates are very easy to care for and completely harmless to humans. Their name comes from the fact that their defense mechanism is to spray vinegar at their attacker. Great if you run out of vinegar for your fish and chips! These creatures require an easy to create set up comprising of a soil type substrate, a cork hide, water dish and decorotions if desired. To maintain humidity levels regular spraying is required. Vinegaroons are purely insectivores so will feed on appropriate sized crickets, locusts and mealworms.
