NOTE - Camel Spiders can moult in an upright position and can appear motionless during this time. Please make sure that you don't disguard the camel spider thinking it's dead.
Basic Requirements
Paragaleodes sp fluffy camel spiders are one of the most visually alien looking species out there, that's why we call them " Face huggers". Keep these in deep substrate made from a sand and clay mix, they will dig burrows and hide during the cooler months of the year. In addition to deep substrate don't use a transparent/crystal clear enclosure for them as they can become stressed. During the day keep the temperature high and well maintained then allow the temperature to fall at night.
Please note
Camel spiders moult in the upright position with their front legs raised in the air. They will only moult when conditions are correct. This may take several weeks, please do not discard thinking that they are dead
